Closing the Circle
Achieving the ultimate goal of creating the Norfolk Orbital Railway will involve the individual planning and commision of several plans. Some will involve major land acquisition or extensive engineering works - others are potentially less complicated. All, however will involve considerable effort to bring together all interested parties and arrive at realisable proposals; and it is to this task that the project is dedicated .

Where possible the line will follow the original route/s but where this is impossible a deviation will take the line around obstructions that have appeared during the years since closure.

How long will it take?
This enormous undertaking will not be achieved overnight, nor will it happen all at once. There will be many years of patient canvassing and negotiations around the various constituent projects that make up the whole.
